istory was made on Friday 9th February, 2024 at the National Assembly as the young and vibrant law maker representing the good people of Mbaitoli and Ikeduru in the federal house of representatives (green chambers) Abuja.

Rt. Hon Engr. Akarachi Amadi Assumes duty as the Deputy Chairman on Safety and Standards Committee in the Federal House of Representatives.

In his inaugural address, Akarachi emphasized the vital role that safety and standards play in our society, extending beyond the protection of lives and property. He articulated a broader perspective, stressing the need for interventions that encompass economic protection.

The young lea maker's insightful speech shed light on critical areas within the oil and gas sector where strategic interventions are imperative. 

While noting that there would be resistance, Hon Engr Akarachi Amadi pointed out the importance of aligning safety and standards measures with economic interests, emphasizing that safeguarding not only lives and property but also economic assets is essential for sustainable progress.

As Deputy Chairman, Hon Engr Akarachi Amadi assured cooperation with the Chairman and members of the committee as well as stakeholders who will be working with them.
