JUST IN: FACEBOOK & INSTAGRAM SUFFERS GLITCHES.

Facebook and Instagram, both under the Meta umbrella, few hours ago encountered a significant glitch, leaving numerous users locked out of their accounts. TheBeat is currently investigating whether this issue is specific to users in Nigeria.

As of the time of reporting, neither Meta nor Facebook has provided an official explanation or statement regarding the outage. Concerns heightened among users who initially suspected unauthorized access to their accounts, leading to futile attempts to reset passwords.

It’s worth noting that this incident is not the inaugural instance of a Meta-owned platform facing technical difficulties. 

Also recall that similar scenario occured in 2022, when Facebook experienced a global outage, disrupting video viewing and messaging capabilities for users worldwide.
