The Supreme Court Set To Hear Federal Government's Case Against Nigerian Governors On Local Government Autonomy Tomorrow (Thursday 30th May 2024).

The supreme Court of Nigeria has fixed Thursday 30th May, 2024 to decide on Local Government Autonomy.

Recall that few days ago, President TINUBU sued the 36 States governors over LGA Autonomy in a bid to make them full autonomy and thereby reviving the local government system all over the country this will bring in the much needed development.

While speaking with IKEMBA News, the President lamented that "For Years our local government system has been on moribund depriving the people in the rural area the presence of government which will stop forthwith as soon as supreme Court dispenses justice.
