The recent trivial, incoherent and gibberish piece from one Daniel Opara undermining the Homoningous and numerous achievements of Rt. Hon. Akarachi Amadi, the achievements of the MBAIKE Finest, did not only make furry of Daniel Opara, rather portray his character as one who comes from the mud, & lacks direction of his claim.

Engr. Akarachi Amadi is a man who even upon resumption of office as Mbaike house of Rep. Member executed so many projects, and also vowed to restore the pride of Mbaike in a very short time.

in just 1 year in office as a federal law maker he has carried lots of projects and still counting.

It will be anathema of Daniel Opara to decide to bring into negative fun fair of a respectable and capacity driven young law maker as his only means of drawing attention and gaining popularity.

Few among here are the numerous verifiable achievements of Rt. Hon. Engr. Akarachi Amadi within 1 year in office.


1. Nkwo Orji - Orie Mbieri Road: Still under construction. the construction of a 4.99 km road is aimed significantly at improving transportation for residents and business activities in the area.

2. Ochicha Ngugo - Eziama Road: Delivered a 1.8 km road, facilitating better access and mobility in the region.

3. Atta - Ikembara Road Face 2: Still under going construction of a 1.2 km road, which will be a vital link for local communities.

4. Ngugo-Nkwo Odoro Road: Construction on going of a 1.7 km road, enhancing connectivity and reducing travel time for residents.

Employment and Humanitarian Efforts

Through various initiatives, Hon. Amadi has significantly contributed to employment and humanitarian support:

1. Youth Employment: Created numerous job opportunities for MBAIKE youths through his offices and the Akarachi Foundation, reducing unemployment and fostering economic growth.

2. MBAIKE Unity Football Competition: Solely sponsoring the Mbaike Unity Football  Competition from  2020 till date, where he has, invested well above  N100,000,000. This initiative led to the discovery of over 20 talented players now playing  both local and in Europe.

3. Electrification Project(PROJECT LIGHT UP MBAIKE): Electrified Amaehi town in Eziama Ikeduru LGA with a 200 MW solar power project, enhancing the quality of lives and supporting local businesses.

Provided Electric Poles and Armored  Cables for Ogbaku people to restore their light back to National grid which was destroyed by wind leaving them in darkness for several months.

4. Housing for the Homeless: Built and furnished a four-bedroom bungalow for homeless widow Mama Jemimah Ndukwe in Umuaruru-Uke Ikembara, Ikeduru LGA, providing her with much-needed shelter.

5. Healthcare Support: Sponsored over 50 MBAIKE constituents for major surgeries through the FREE HEALTH PROJECT, ensuring they receive necessary medical care.

6. Educational Support: Sponsored free JAMB registration for 2000 MBAIKE applicants from the 24 INEC wards, easing the financial burden on families since 2022 till date.

7. JAMB Tutorials: Provided free lessons in major subjects, including English and Mathematics, for all MBAIKE JAMB candidates, helping improve their academic performance.

8. Scholarships: Granted scholarships to over 100 MBAIKE students in secondary and tertiary institutions, up to Masters Degree level, enabling them to pursue their educational goals.

9. Afor-Di-Mkpa Project: Distributed over 150,000 bags of rice and cooking condiments to MBAIKE women during Christmas and New Year since 2022 till date, ensuring families had enough food during the festive season.

10. Other Supports: Donated N1,000,000 for the renovation of Ikeduru Local Government Education Authority Secretariat, improving administrative efficiency.

11. School Furniture: Donated 250 complete sets of chairs to Iho Central School, enhancing the learning environment for students.

12. Healthcare Facilities: Ongoing construction of Umudim Health Centre, enhancing access to healthcare services.

13. Hospital Upgrades: Complete facelift, electrification, fencing, and equipping of Mbieri General Hospital, ensuring better healthcare delivery.

14. Youth Empowerment: Donated N100,000,000 for the empowerment of MBAIKE youths through the Imo State Government, supporting various youth development programs.

15. Community Support: Donated cash of N6,300,000 to the Home and Abroad Women August Meeting of the 63 Autonomous Communities, promoting community engagement and development.

16. Wrapper Distributions: Distributed over ten million pieces of wrappers to the MBAIKE 63 Autonomous Communities during the August Meeting, celebrating local culture and unity.

17. Rural Road Improvements: Yearly  massive grading and sand filling of rural roads in Mbaike …eg in Mbieri, Ogwa, Ogbaku, Orodo, Uzoagba, Akabo, etc got a share of this experience over a year ago ,ensuring smooth travel during the Christmas celebrations.

18. Youth Empowerment and Transportation Support: Procured and distributed minibuses to over 30 MBAIKE constituents, improving local transportation options.

19. Religious Support: Provided substantial financial support to the Anglican Diocese of Ikeduru during the 2022 Synod, supporting religious activities.

20. Musical Equipment: Procured and donated a complete musical band set for St. Andrews Anglican Church Akabo, enhancing worship experiences in the church services.

21. Electrical Infrastructure: Donated over five brand new transformers to communities that lacked electricity for years, such as Amatta, Abazu, Umunoha, Atta, and Umuodu Mbieri, restoring power and improving quality of lives.

22. Electricity Bills: Offset electricity bills totaling about N1,000,000 for Obibi Community in Ogbaku, restoring power after a year-long outage.

23. Vehicle Donation: Donated a 2008 RAV4 to the Rev. Fr. of St. John’s Catholic Church, Umuduru-Umueze Autonomous Community, supporting religious leadership.

Legislative Contributions

In addition to his community and infrastructure projects, Hon. Amadi has been active in legislative activities :

1. Vocational Training Bill: Nigerian Institute or Center for Vocational Training and Certification.(Establishment) Bill, 2023 (HB.543), aimed at enhancing vocational skills training.

2. Entrepreneurship College Bill: Federal College of Entrepreneurship and Skill Acquisition, Mbaitoli, Imo State (Establishment) Bill, 2023 (HB.542), promoting entrepreneurship education.

3. Maritime Administration Bill: Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency Act (Amendment) Bill, 2023 (HB.729), focused on improving maritime safety and administration.

4. National Football Academy Bill: National Football Academy, Mbaitoli, Imo State (Establishment) Bill, 2023 (HB.730), aimed at nurturing football talent.

5. Border Communities Development Bill: Bill to Amend the Border Communities Development Agency Act Cap B10, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004 (Establishment), enhancing support for border communities.

It is also worthy to note that Hon. Engr. Akarachi Amadi is a man who believes in action, he is a TALK & DO legislator who does not depend on much choruses of his achievement.

Many call him the Silent Achiever.
