VERY SAD: GULY EROSION DESTROYS OKPUALA AMAKOHIA COMMUNITY

The good people of Okpuala Amakohia Community in Ikeduru East Local Government Area of Imo State, have cried out for help over a deadly ravaging Guly Erosion that have totally crippled economic activities in the community, leaving residents in pain and suffering amidst economic hardship.

The most painful part of it is that there is no single passable road since over 15 years till date in the community, as the Ekeonummiri road that leads from Amakohia to Owubinubi down to Mbaise has totally been cut off, fixing this road will help to revive economic lives of the three communities.

 The good  people of Okpuala Amakohia Ikeduru, therefore call on the State, and Federal Government  including the lawmakers representing the zone to hear the cry of Okpuala Amakohia people and come for their rescue as economic activities has been totally paralyzed and commuters finds it difficult to move from one place to another leaving economic activities dead.

The Imo State government Senator Hope Uzodinma and the Federal government should have mercy on Okpuala Amakohia and come to salvage this condition in other to save lives of the people living in that area.
Sadly, the traditional ruler of Okpuala Amakohia Ikeduru HRH Eze Innocent Alaribe has been displaced from his palace, as the most affected erosion side is closer to his palace.

Okpuala Amakohia Ikeduru needs urgent help and attention from state and federal government to salvage this ugly Guly erosion that is ravaging the community.

INTERESTING -As Youth Of St. Mathew's Catholic Church Umunam Ended their Youth Week with a Friendly Match

 Sunday the 29th day of September, 2024 witnessed  a scintillating and mind thrilling Friendly Match between the  Staff of Versatile Consolidated Industries, Owerri (VCI)  The makers of quality sachet nylon for water , bread, bottle water, label tissue, serviette etc,  and the  Youth of St. Mathew's Catholic Church Umunam in Imerienwe, Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State. The match started at around 4:pm at Umunam football field, and the Parish Priest of St. Mathew's Catholic Church Rev. Fr. Ugochukwu Agubata Opara was live to cheer his side to victory. Although the match ended in a 3-3 draw for both sides. It was a math played in a friendly manner and in  wrapping up of the Parish Youth Week which witnessed huge success to the glory of God. Rev.
